How to drift in a racing simulator
Combatting Depression through motorsports.
At the Australian Institute of Motorsports, we have a primary focus on combating Depression and Anxiety and assisting men with mental health through our motorsports programs.
We offer accepted candidates the opportunity to be trained in race craft for either, Drifting, Time Attack or Grip Racing.
In this program, we provide the candidates with coaching on a custom-built racing simulator thanks to our partners VR Motorsports and SimRiggs.com. During this program, you will learn about car setup and racecraft techniques for one of the three disciplines.
Throughout this, we unite you with our strong supportive community and aim to provide an experience that gives you the skills and experience to complete the program.
Throughout 2024 we will also offer multiple programs based around driving and the craft to immerse you in a rapid learning environment to enable a fast track to success.
These programs are held each qtr and are more focused on learning how to control a car better and taking your mind off the struggles of life while giving you the tools to overcome them.
The next intake is in january for the February program on Sim Drifting held at VR Motorsports.
We will be running 6 programs during 2024. As you can imagine covering all the costs of this is quite a feat and would not be possible without your support in our giveaways.

The following is our criteria in order to place an application :
Over the Age of 18 or Over the age of 12 and have parental consent.
Reside in the following regions: Brisbane, Ipswich, Toowoomba, Sunshine Coast, Gold Coast.
Have an active interest in either Sim Racing or Motorsports.
